Hello! My name is Amiee Denney and I love being a doula! 

 

My journey into doula work started after my 4th baby was born at home in 2013. I felt so empowered and inspired by his birth, by my midwives, my birth team and by God to pursue being a doula. I wanted all women to be able to receive birth support and a doula if she desired one. From that point, I started learning and reading and growing even more in love and passionate about pregnancy, labor and birth.

I love continuing my education and taking classes when I can to keep learning as well as also attending births as a birth assistant at a local birth center with some amazing midwives.

I have a great desire to learn and a gift to love women and families through such a special time in their lives. I am a believer that there is power in trusting the birth process with all the right tools and the right birth team in place. I always feel honored to be in the trusted and sacred birth space of another.
